The advent of the Internet has drastically changed the way we and our patrons interact with information. From creation, to search and discovery, all the way through synthesis and repackaging, every step of the information cycle has been impacted by the dramatic technological changes of the last 20 years – and even of the last 20 days! In this talk, we’ll explore some of the tools that are affecting the way our patrons find, use, share, and play with information, and some tools we can use to be a more prominent part of their information world.
